Top 5 offensive coordinator options for LA Chargers

5. Nathaniel Hackett

While the former Denver Broncos head coach had a terrible debut as a headman, Hackett has a solid reputation as an offensive coordinator. Holding the role for the Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Green Bay Packers, Hackett does have the experience for the role and he was able to bring some great rushing attacks to each team, which is something that should appeal to the Chargers.

However, Hackett’s success with quarterbacks may make Los Angeles shy away as he worked with EJ Manuel in Buffalo and Blake Bortles in Jacksonville, two former first-round QBs who never truly broke out, before getting to work with one of the best signal-callers ever. Also, Hackett’s past season coaching Russell Wilson and the QB having the worst season of his career may further scare the Chargers away.
