Women’s Hockey Handled by No. 4 Amherst, 6-0
MIDDLETOWN, CT.- The Wesleyan women’s hockey team was defeated by nationally ranked Amherst Friday night, 6-0. The fourth ranked Mammoths scored three goals in both the second and third period to reach their total. The six goals allowed by the Cardinals is the most they have surrendered since the 2019-20 season, when Williams managed seven scores up in Williamstown. Wesleyan moves to 9-5-1 (3-4 NESCAC). No. 4 Amherst extends their win streak to 14 with the win, sitting at 15-1 (8-1 NESCAC) on the year.
