Former Clemson infielder joins Mariners coaching staff

Former Clemson infielder Mike Freeman is set to see the game in a whole new light this season. After playing six seasons in the MLB, Freeman was announced as the new manager for the Arkansas Travelers, a Double-A affiliate for the Seattle Mariners organization, on Tuesday. In his six seasons in the Big Leagues, Freeman recorded 45 runs off of 80 hits, 32 RBIs, 14 doubles and five homers in 193 game appearances with six different teams.
