Justin Jefferson named finalist for AP Most Valuable Player
The National Football League Most Valuable Player usually goes to the league’s best quarterback but every so often, a non-quarterback gets nominated. After being nominated for the AP Offensive Player of the Year award, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson was named a finalist for the AP Most Valuable Player award. The Vikings receiver is the only non-quarterback nominated for the award this year, as he joins Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen and Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow.
