MOBILE, Ala.— The Montreat baseball team opened its 2023 season on Friday with a non-conference doubleheader against the University of Mobile Rams. Despite a few strong individual performances, the Cavaliers couldn’t overcome the Rams as the visitors fell in both games, 4-2 and 8-3. With the defeats, the Cavs started the year with an 0-2 record.
