Ranking the top 5 defensive coordinator candidates for Bills

BUFFALO, N.Y. (BVM) – Many coaching changes are made during the NFL offseason, but one in Buffalo was one of the most shocking of the coaching carousel so far. Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier stepped down from his position to take a year off of coaching, the team announced Tuesday.

Frazier had served as the Bills’ DC for the past five years since 2017 where he helped the defense reach some amazing heights including multiple years where they finished in the top-five in league standings. The Bills did announce that Frazier is expected to return to the team in 2024.

With Frazier’s leave of absence, Buffalo will now search for his successor. As one of the AFC’s top teams, the Bills will have to secure a strong hire in order to keep their Super Bowl window open. That being said, here are the top five defensive coordinator candidates Buffalo should go after.
