The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) recently announced the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athletes. The list includes 542 men and 873 women who achieved a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. Fisk University’s own Men’s Basketball player Ralph Davenport (JR/Bastrop, LA), a junior Physics major, and Women’s Basketball Zipporah Davis, a junior Biology major, were among the honorees.
