Montreal, March 15, 2023 – The Montreal Alouettes are very saddened to have learned about the passing of their former star player Glen Weir, who died on Monday, at the age of 71. Weir played 203 games over 13 seasons with Montreal, between 1972 and 1984. The defensive tackle played at a time where defensive statistics weren’t recorded, but that did not stop him from being named a CFL East Division All Star on six occasions.
