Savoie sets up Winnipeg’s 54th win of the season
Winnipeg ICE forward Matthew Savoie had three assists, to eclipse the 90 point mark this season, as the ICE beat the Prince Albert Raiders 4-1 Saturday night at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena. Zack Ostapchuk, Evan Friesen, Ben Zloty and Connor McClennon scored as Winnipeg set a new franchise record with their 54th win of the season. The WHL record of most wins by a team in a 68 game regular season schedule is 54, now shared by Winnipeg and the 2018-19 Raiders.
