With Hunter Long headed to the Los Angeles Rams as part of the trade for cornerback Jalen Ramsey, and Mike Gesicki’s return doubtful at the time, the Miami Dolphins signed former Denver Broncos tight end Eric Saubert. Saubert joins Durham Smythe and Tanner Conner in a tight end room that still feels rather bare despite their being three now.
