AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference named Columbus State University women’s track and field athlete Cyan Green the Women’s Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, March 21. Green won the shot put at the Falcon Classic & Multi with a toss of 14.17m (46’6″) on her fourth and final attempt. The junior from Powder Springs, Ga., set a new CSU school record and broke her personal best by more than two feet. It is also an NCAA provisional distance and the third-farthest shot put in NCAA Division II so far this year.
