LEXINGTON, Va. – Sophomore Marcella Mercer (Big Fork, Montana / Flathead) finished tied for 25th in the 120 player field at the Jekyll Island Collegiate after posting 231 strokes (+15) at Indian Mound with rounds of 76, 75 and 80. Over the tournament she recorded par 29 times and birdied six holes split between the first two rounds. She placed in the top-20 in Par 4 scoring with an average of 4.27 strokes per Par 4 (+8) and the Generals finished 9th of 24 teams. This marks Mercer’s first ODAC weekly honor.
