RICHARDSON, Texas- The Texas A&M-Kingsville track and field program had two student-athletes honored by the Lone Star Conference on Wednesday, as sophomore Thomas Nieto was named LSC Field Athlete of the Week and classmate Ja’Qualon Scott LSC Track Athlete of the Week. Neito earns the honor following a stellar performance in the pole vault at the Wes Kittley Invitational. His height of 17-3.75 (5.28m) currently ranks him atop all of NCAA Division II.
