Garden City, N.Y. – A season ago, Ashley Lombardi delivered the extra-inning heroics that propelled the Adelphi University softball team to its first NE10 Championship since 2018. Now, on Friday at 1 p.m., Adelphi and Saint Anselm will meet for the first time at Janet L. Ficke Field since that fateful day. The doubleheader was originally scheduled for Saturday at noon, but the two teams have moved up the date in anticipation of more poor weather this weekend.
