THREE-PEAT! #15 Men’s Volleyball Rallies to Take Down Kean, 3-2, to be Crowned NJAC Champs
UNION, NJ | For the 3rd year in a row, the Rutgers University-Newark men’s volleyball squad were crowned New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Champions. #15 Rutgers-Newark improved to 10-5, 3-1 with the five-set thrilling win, 3-2 (25-19, 25-20, 26-24, 25-232, 15-10) while Kean dropped to 11-9, 2-2. Leading the champions was Andrew Zaleck who finished with a match-high 18 kills while Daniel Quay hit a red-hot .414 with 16 kills. Derek Au finished the match with 45 assists and Justin Tuohy tallied seven kills and paced the team with 12 digs. The Scarlet Raiders got off to a rocky start…
