FVSU Bats Come Alive, Take Opener from Benedict
COLUMBIA, S.C. – For the second conference series in a row, the Wildcats started quickly at the plate. Fort Valley State scored multiple runs three times as its bats came alive and took the softball series opener, 12-2, at Benedict College. Trailing 1-0 after a frame, the Wildcats (9-17/6-8 SIAC East) pushed across four scores in the top of the second highlighted by a two-run Hailey Bracey hit.
