LOCKPORT, Ill. — Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior Julia McGuire and the No. 3 doubles team provided victories to highlight a 6-1 women’s tennis loss at NAIA St. Francis (Ill.) on Sunday. McGuire picked up a 6-3, 6-3 victory at the No. 6 singles flight for her 10th career singles victory. The doubles team of Ella Dorfmueller and Ruby Kauffman added a 6-1 win at the No. 3 doubles flight, although St. Francis earned the doubles point in the match by winning the first two flights. Rose-Hulman stands 7-13 on the season, while St. Francis improved to 6-6.
