University of Pikeville freshman Carly Crooks was named Women’s Golfer of the Week on Monday by the Mid-South Conference. Crooks, a freshman from Toronto, Ontario, completed the Klash in Kentucky tied for first in individual play, carding a 36-hole score of 158. Her play helped lead the Bears to the tournament championship. The tournament was played at the 5,826-yard Perry Park Country Club in Owenton, Ky.
