ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell senior forward Max Andreev has signed an amateur tryout with the American Hockey League’s Coachella Valley Firebirds for the remainder of the 2022-23 season, the organization announced Thursday afternoon. Coachella Valley is the AHL affiliate of the Seattle Kraken, which also features former Cornell forward Tristan Mullin. Both Andreev and Mullin played together for two seasons during the 2018-19 and 2019-20 campaigns.
