HOUSTON, TX. – Nova Southeastern Head Men’s Basketball Coach Jim Crutchfield has been awarded the 2023 Clarence Gaines Award, presented annually to the top NCAA Division II college basketball coach. Crutchfield, in his fifth season at Nova Southeastern, led the Sharks to the program’s first national championship and guided NSU to a perfect 36-0 record.
