James Drives In Two As Cougars Fall At Queens

FLUSHING, N.Y. — Sophomore Liam James (Roseland, N.J.) delivered a pinch-hit, two-run double but Caldwell fell in a non-league affair at Hennekens Stadium, 12-3. Sophomore CF Ryan Opak (Douglaston, N.Y.) had two hits including a double for the Cougars. Junior Andres Rodriguez (Henderson, Nev.) pitched well in relief for Caldwell, tossing a scorless eighth inning. Caldwell (7-17) visits Goldey Beacom in a CACC doubleheader on Wednesday in Wilmington, Del.
