Hailey Van Lith enters transfer portal; Top 5 landing spots

The chances of Van Lith choosing Iowa are slim — hence why the Hawkeyes are No. 5 – but the graduate transfer should want nothing more than to play in important, late-season games. Iowa and star Caitlin Clark give her the best opportunity to do that. Van Lith would certainly help the Hawkeyes improve as well, especially after losing seniors Monika Czinano and McKenna Warlock (the team’s second and third-leading scorers this past season). More importantly, Iowa appeared to be vulnerable at certain points while Clark rested or when she struggled. Van Lith would provide a top-tier No. 2 option alongside Clark who can be counted on just as much in big moments.
