Miami Dolphins mock draft 2023: Pick-by-pick predictions

No. 51, Round 2: Jack Campbell, LB, Iowa

The Dolphins are thin in terms of linebackers that can drop back in coverage. They have a decent starting unit with Jerome Baker and David Long Jr., but one of the biggest knocks on Long Jr. has been durability. Even if that were not the case, this would still be a need. Campbell racked up 128 tackles this past season, winning the Dick Butkus Award as well as Big Ten Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
