Rattlers claim 2023 SWAC Regular Season Championship after undefeated conference season

NEW ORLEANS, La. –– Florida A&M tennis traveled to New Orleans with one goal in mind and that was to beat Prairie View A&M to secure the 2023 SWAC Regular Season Championship and did just that, winning 4-0 to cap a perfect 9-0 conference record. “I am proud how the team competed today,” said Head Coach Nikki Houston. “This is a great accomplishment but we are not done yet.” The Rattlers started off winning the doubles point as Veronica Rodriguez and Rebekkah Gaines won their match 6-1.
