LAS VEGAS (BVM) – The Las Vegas Raiders have made the playoffs just twice in the last 20 years and are still searching for a consistent product to put on the field as they head into the 2023 season.
Following the most recent of those playoff appearances in 2021, the Raiders hired Josh McDaniels last offseason, hoping he would be the spark to turn things around in Vegas. However, the Raiders went just 6-11 in a tough AFC West, as quarterback Derek Carr struggled throughout much of the season.
In 2023, the Raiders will have a new look, as they traded Carr to the New Orleans Saints earlier in the offseason. As a result, the team made its own deal for a quarterback, acquiring Jimmy Garoppolo from the San Francisco 49ers.
While Las Vegas could look for its quarterback of the future in the NFL draft later this month, the team has several other positions of need to address, and should be able to do so with an abundance of picks. Here’s a look at who the Raiders could take with each of their 12 draft selections.
