Men’s Golf Lands in Fifth After Two Rounds at the SWAC Golf Championships

Jackson, Miss. __ Alabama A&M junior Felipe Gomez Lopez shot a four-over 148, which featured a pair of 74 scores, to lead the Bulldogs through two rounds of the SWAC Golf Championships at The Refuge in Jackson, Mississippi. As a team, A&M sits in fifth place with a score of 599 (+23) through two days. The Bulldogs shot a 302 (+14) in round one, followed by a 297 (+9) on Tuesday and are currently just nine shots back of second place.
