A-State Tennis Falls to Coastal Carolina at SBC Championship

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (4/26/23) – The Arkansas State women’s tennis team saw its 2022-23 season come to a close with a 4-0 loss to Coastal Carolina Wednesday at the Sun Belt Conference Women’s Tennis Championship at the Peachtree City Tennis Center. A-State (2-18) dropped the doubles point with Coastal Carolina (17-7) picking up wins on courts two and three. Abigail Thurmer and Anna Borovinskaya fell 6-2 on court three and the Chanticleers clinched the point defeating Yasmine Humbert and Rebecca Brody 6-1 on court two. Sarah Millard and Sofia Vdovychenko trailed 5-1 on court one when the point was clinched.…
