Tech signs Florida transfer Jordyn Merritt

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech head coach Krista Gerlich has announced the addition of 6’3″ Florida transfer Jordyn Merritt. A 2020-21 All-SEC Freshman Team selection, Merritt averaged 7.9 points per game and grabbed 5.0 rebounds per game in her three seasons in Gainesville. During her freshman campaign, Merritt made an immediate impact, averaging 6.2 points and 4.5 rebounds in 26 games played.
