Heckel Jr. Leads Golf in Second Round of PL Championships

PHOENIX, Md. – The Army West Point golf team wrapped up the second round of play at the Patriot League Championships at Hillendale Country Club. The Black Knights sit in seventh place after the second round with a time score of 620 (+44). John Heckel Jr. continued his impressive play and is one stroke back in second place on the player leaderboard. He shot an even par 72 on a better day on the course and is just behind of Yuxuan Song of Lehigh, who scored a 2-under 70 in round two. Heckel finished with three birdies during his round.…
