Ticket Punched! Sun Devils Qualify For NCAA Tournament For 35th Consecutive Season

TEMPE, Ariz. – For a 35th consecutive season, head coach Sheila McInerney has guided the Sun Devil Women’s Tennis team to the NCAA Tournament, as they will open with Wake Forest on Friday, May 5 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Should they advance, the Sun Devils will meet the winner of host No. 15 Tennessee and Southeast Missouri State on Saturday, May 6. McInerney has led the Sun Devils to the postseason in every spring since 1987 (excluding 2020, which was cut short due to COVID-19) and has reached the NCAA Tournament 37 times in her 39-year tenure.
