Petty Named Player of the Year, Highlights 11 Postseason Awards

BOSTON – Highlighted by a major award winner, seven members of the University at Albany’s softball team have been awarded a postseason honor from the America East conference, announced Tuesday. Named the America East Player of the Year for the second-straight season, Morgan Petty led the pack. The Great Danes put at least two players on each of the four teams – First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-Conference, All-Rookie, and All-Academic.
