Falcons Start MAC Championship With Strong Opening Day

AKRON, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons completed the first day of the 2023 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday (May 11). Heptathletes Jenna Lucas and Destiny Fernandes had a strong start to the weekend, with both recording PRs in the high jump. Lucas added another PR in the 100 hurdles, an event that saw Fernandes place sixth. Lucas, who was the shot put runner-up, is currently fourth in the heptathlon standings.
