Trinity Women’s Varsity Eight Finishes Fourth In NIRC Regatta
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Trinity College women’s varsity eight came in fourth place in the grand final of the National Invitational Rowing Championship (NIRC) Regatta on Lake Quinsigamond this afternoon. The top Bantam boat, ranked No. 9 nationally entering the weekend, finished second in one of three preliminary heats in the morning with a time of 7:15.799 and registered a time of 6:46.307 in the afternoon to best No. 4-ranked Bates and No. 6-ranked Worcester Tech in the finals.
