Brooklyn, NY – The City College of New York Beavers secured the program’s second CUNYAC Championship and its first since 1994 after sweeping Lehman College on Friday to win the 2023 CUNYAC Baseball Championship at Maimonides Park. The Beavers shut out the Lightning in the first game, 10-0, and rallied back in the ninth inning of game two to win, 20-8. James Dean Johnstone was named the championship’s Most Valuable Player.
