Top 10 hitters in the 2023 NCAA D-I softball tournament
10. Sydney McKinney, INF, Wichita State
Shockers fifth-year senior infielder McKinney leads the NCAA in hits with 97 as well as batting average at .519. She also racked up five home runs and 32 RBIs to go along with a .560 on-base percentage and a .727 slugging percentage.
McKinney was named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Year for her efforts. While McKinney is certainly a great hitter, her power keeps her lower on this list as there are some players with better home run and RBI numbers higher up on this list, but her NCAA-leading hit statistics earned her a spot.
