Baseball has five honored on CSC Academic All-District Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Five Bellarmine University baseball players earned Academic All-District Team accolades from the College Sports Communicators. Receiving the honor for the Knights were senior third baseman/designated hitter Colin Bertsch, senior right-hander Matt Craven, senior outfielder Tommy Dilz, senior right-hander Nolan Pender and senior shortstop Brett Pfaadt. Upon nomination, Bertsch was carrying a 3.59 GPA while majoring in sports administration. The native of Plantation, Florida, has made 49 starts this season and accumulated six homers, seven doubles, 21 runs scored and 23 RBI. He’s an ASUN Honor Roll recipient.
