HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Mississippi Valley State University Diamond Devils snatched the lead late in the game in a 5-3 victory over Alabama A&M Bulldogs on Thursday afternoon. The game was tied at three with the Diamond Devils batting in the top of the seventh when Victor Figueroa tripled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring two runs. Figueroa went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Diamond Devils in hits. Zachery Sigmon was credited with the victory for MVSU.
