Petrella, Petty Honored by NFCA

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Two Great Danes have been named All-Mid-Atlantic Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). Seniors Morgan Petty and Maddi Pettrella each garnered Third Team honors for their efforts during the 2023 season. Recently named the America East Player of the Year for the second-straight season, Petty led the Great Danes with a .409 batting average. Finishing second in the conference in batting average, she added a league-high 56 hits, four triples, and .672 slugging percentage while finishing in the top five with 33 runs, seven home runs, and 33 RBI.
