Cam Spencer transferring; 5 landing spots for sharpshooter
PISCATAWAY, N.J. (BVM) – Cam Spencer proved himself in a major way during his first season at Rutgers. A transfer from mid-major Loyola-Marymount, Spencer had many doubters about his game once he arrived to the Power 5 level, but he proved all the naysayers wrong as he averaged 13.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists while shooting 44.4% from the field and 43.4% from beyond the 3-point line. This included a pair of game-sealing 3-pointers against Northwestern and Purdue in January, providing further evidence that Spencer belonged at the Power 5 level.
