DECATUR, Illinois—Millikin University sophomore third baseman Kyle Gibson (Niles, Niles West H.S.) was named to the 2023 D3baseball.com All-Region Team for Region 8 on May 29. Earlier this month, Gibson was named to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin All-Conference First Team. Gibson ended the season with a .404 batting average with nine doubles, five triples, two home runs and 29 RBI.
