MIAMI (BVM) – Ted Williams was the last big leaguer to hit over .400 back in 1941. Some players have gotten close over the years, but nobody has done it since.

It is June 6, and Marlins second baseman Luis Arraez is hitting at a staggering .399 clip. Arraez is still months away, but he could potentially become the first .400 hitter in 82 years.
