Dalvin Cook released; Top 5 landing spots for Pro Bowl RB
(BVM) – After months of speculation and rumors, the Minnesota Vikings made the anticipated move to release star running back Dalvin Cook.
Vikings have informed Dalvin Cook that he’s being released, per source.

The decision comes as the Vikings were set to owe Cook a base salary of $10.4 million on the year, but with his release, the team saves $9 million and will only owe the running back $2 million.
Vikings will owe Dalvin Cook $2 million this year once they release him.
By releasing him after June 1, the Vikings also will save $9M in cap space, while taking on $5.1M in dead money on their 2023 cap.
