Bradley Beal, Wizards open to trade; Top 5 landing spots

WASHINGTON D.C. (BVM) – The end of the NBA Finals has officially turned the page for teams around the league as the focus now flips to the upcoming offseason. With plenty of early rumors centering around some of the league’s top stars, one franchise might find itself with a slew of potential moves to make.

Three-time All-Star Bradley Beal headlines the Washington Wizards pivotal next few months as they decide what direction the team will look to go. With a number of key playmakers set to hit the open market, moving Beal may be most important on the team’s radar.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Beal and the Wizards’ organization will work together on a potential move if the team decides to head in that direction.

The soon-to-be-30-year-old guard has played in under 60 games in each of the past four seasons and has averaged 23.2 points per game over the last two years. The market for Beal could bring him to a title contender after spending the majority of his career playing near .500-basketball.

With a chance for contenders to land one of the bigger names on the market, here are five potential candidates that could trade for the Washington Wizards All-Star.
