CHICAGO (BVM) – Fresh off a 2021-22 campaign that saw the Chicago Bulls battle for the top of the Eastern Conference, the past season didn’t bring nearly those same year-long aspirations for a Bulls’ franchise that is now rumored to be making calls on their All-Star guard.
According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, the Bulls have begun “contacting teams” around the league pertaining to a trade involving 28-year-old star Zach LaVine.
Trade chatter is abuzz around the NBA. Bradley Beal's potential exit from Washington has taken center stage, and the Bulls are gauging trade interest in Zach LaVine, league sources told @YahooSports. More from around the league ahead of next week's draft: https://t.co/jbeeeii7vK

With struggles for the current Chicago group dating back to point guard Lonzo Ball’s original stint on the inactive list in 2022, the Bulls have yet to return to their best form with Ball set to possibly miss yet another full season during the upcoming campaign.
LaVine recently signed a five-year, $215 million max contract with the Bulls last offseason and has been considered the centerpiece of the Chicago franchise. In his age-27 season, Lavine averaged 24.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists but failed to yield consistent winning results alongside a trio that featured DeMar Derozan and Nikola Vucevic.
With a chance for Chicago to possibly shake up its current group, here are five potential trade candidates that might find themselves in the mix.
