Melendez Selected NCBWA Second-Team All-American

MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Pitcher Omar Melendez reeled in an other honor as he garnerd National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Second-Team All-American honors on Thursday. Melendez adds to his laundry list of honors that includes Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Second-Team All-American, SWAC Pitcher of the Year, and First-Team All-SWAC. The sophomore posted a perfect 12-0 record and led the SWAC in wins (12/2nd NCAA), ERA (2.52/16th NCAA), and complete games (4/3rd NCAA).
