Draymond Green declines player option; Top 5 landing spots

5. Dallas Mavericks

When Green was asked his favorite NBA player to watch besides his now-former teammate Steph Curry, the four-time NBA champion’s answer was Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic. “Luka is different,” Green said. “The way he sees the floor, scores the basketball, gets to his spot, his pace, it’s Luka for sure.” It could’ve been Green just paying his respects to one of the NBA’s brightest, young stars, or it could’ve been a hint at his free-agent destination. With Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving currently testing free agency, his exit could open up the cap space to bring Green to Dallas.
