Top 10 players who were not selected in 2023 NBA Draft
10. Sir’Jabari Rice, G
If there are any downsides to Rice’s potential, it’s probably his wiry 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame, and the fact that he is already 24 years old. Yet, he is an athletic player that is strong in several facets of the game, and is coming off a season at Texas in which he won Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year honors, often looking like the best all-around player on the court for the Longhorns down the stretch of the season. That was evident as he hit 7-of-10 3-point shots and scored 23 points in Texas’ NCAA Tournament opener against Colgate. For the season, Rice averaged 13 points, shooting 37% from deep. Rice’s talent isn’t necessarily going to blow anyone away, but he has upside, and will earn a chance to prove it with a San Antonio Spurs squad looking for any kind of talented pieces.
