Top 10 players who were not selected in 2023 NBA Draft
9. Drew Timme, F
Timme is one of the most recognizable names on this list, and also had one of the most decorated college basketball careers as a two-time West Coast Conference Player of the Year and consensus first-team All-American in 2023. With 2,307 career points, Timme left Gonzaga as the program’s all-time leading scorer, and finished fourth in program history in career rebounds (896). Last season, the 6-foot-10 forward averaged 21.2 points and 7.5 rebounds, shooting an efficient 61.6% from the field. Timme has tremendous footwork, which allowed him to dominate in the post in college. The concerns are if beating up on players in the West Coast Conference can translate to the NBA, as well as if he can develop a shooting touch, as he shot just 25% from 3-point range, and 65% from the free-throw line during his college career. Still, he’s more than worth taking a chance on, and the Milwaukee Bucks have done so by signing Timme to an exhibit-10 contract.
