Harrison Barnes set for free agency; Top 5 landing spots

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (BVM) – Harrison Barnes has been part of the rebuild in Sacramento and this past year, he played an important role in getting the Kings to the playoffs for the first time since 2006. It was a great season for the city of Sacramento but now Barnes is entering free agency.
Over his five seasons with the Kings, Barnes has been a consistent contributor. He has averaged 15.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists on 38.7% shooting from three. His shooting from behind the arc makes him great for spot-up shooting opportunities but he still has the ability to drive to the hoop.
Barnes is also extremely durable. This past season, he started all 82 games for Sacramento as well as the team’s seven playoff games. He has had no major injuries and that reliability is vital.
The 31-year-old has experience and knows what it takes to be a champion from his time on the Golden State Warriors when that team’s dynasty was just beginning. The former North Carolina Tar Heel can be a go–to option on offense. He was an ideal offensive option for the Kings behind De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis as the team’s third–highest scorer.
Barnes will attract plenty of attention in free agency. He has proven to be a capable contributor on playoff teams and there will be franchises looking to add that caliber of player to their roster.
