(BVM) – With NFL training camp set to begin for a host of teams around the league on July 18, the anticipation for players to return to the field is officially on the horizon. While teams have separate start dates for both rookies and veterans, the bulk of the next few weeks will still be focused on the upcoming NFL season.
With the training camp start date also comes the deadline for franchise-tagged players to reach a deal with their current teams. Only four players have already been franchise tagged while a host of other players around the league have already begun to take action on possible new deals after sitting out of Organized Team Activities (OTA).
With plenty of speculation heading into camp, here’s a look at five players that could be set for an upcoming holdout.
